aeolus filter3

Our products are among the most effective filters available.

The high efficiency of aeolus filter3 media relies on the fundamental mechanical principles of particle capture:

  1. Attract particles of similar dimensions with a 3-D web of thick and thin fibers.
  2. Capture particles inside the filter media, not just on the surface.
  3. Maintain filter form under pressure.
  4. Avoid the buildup of micro-organisms.

Our Mini-pleat pack in 1, 2, 4 or 6 inches is your choice when you need high efficiency filtration in a small design. Our V-Cell Filter

aeolus filter3 media achieves unparalleled energy efficiency, lifecycle and durability.

aeolus filter3 products achieve superior air quality — without artificial attractants.

The three-dimensional structure of the media fiber means that your mini-pleat filter will have a high dust hold capacity, but will not seal up like filters that collect particles on the surface.

Many competing filters rely on inferior media technology and artificial attractants to achieve air quality ratings. The result? When artificial attractants are used, dust tends to accumulate at the surface very quickly, resulting in a rapid decline in air quality — and a rapid increase in energy costs.

Setting Industry Standards

aeolus filter3 all-synthetic filtration products were the first filtration products to be certified by NAFA and among the first to be verified by EPA/ETA for efficiency of Bioaerosol Removal in HVAC systems and effectiveness in preventing the spread of anthrax and other biological contaminants in the event of a bioterror attack.

  • Underwriters Laboratories Classification - UL900 Class I U.S. - Class II Canada
  • Inorganic construction will not promote microbial growth
  • Continuous operating temperature limitations: 180°F (82°C)
  • Filters can be operated up to 125% of manufacturers rated airflow
  • Manufacturers recommended final resistance is 1.50″ W.G.

A filter that pays for itself

You will more than recoup the purchase price of your aeolus filter3 or aeolus filter3 with aeotec nanofibers with the resulting decrease in energy consumption and decrease in filter replacement costs.

What sets the aeolus filter3 apart from competing filters is the ability to meet or exceed industry air standards over a longer period of time without adding the air flow resistance common in competing filters.

Cheap filters are actually more expensive

Typically, air flow resistance increases when dust and other particles build up at the surface. Filters that are artificially-enhanced with static electricity have been shown to attract dust at the surface. Not only does the rapid build-up of dust reduce the effectiveness of the filter (by reducing the surface area of the electrostatic charge), the dust build-up also causes airflow resistance that results in increased energy costs.
