Frame Technology
The durable frame construction in the SMV Products (Synthetic Mini-pleat V-Cell) Frame material for the Synthetic Mini-pleat Panel filter is rigid polypropylene foam board.
The
rigid foam board is formed into a U-channel and wrapped around the
perimeter of the media pack. Frame and media pack are bonded together
with a thermo-plastic adhesive. Frame parts and adhesive are:
- waterproof
- impact resistant
- resistant to most chemicals
- will not rust or corrode
- anti-microbial to protect against bacteria, mold, fungi, etc.
